Things not going so well lately...

I've changed the name of my blog because lately poker hasn't been the main subject in my posts. My life has been tough lately. It just seems that everything keeps going wrong and I'm not getting anywhere. For one thing, this insurance job keeps getting pushed back farther and farther. I passed the online test, but then I had to wait a whole week to get my certificate so that I can go take the state exam. It is held in Montgomery on Tuesdays and Fridays. I got my certificate in the mail today, so its just in time for me to take tomorrow's state exam right??? Wrong. It seems the scheduled exam dates are a little backed up in Montgomery, Birmingham, Huntsville, and Mobile. I have to wait until next Friday, which is September 8th, to take it. Well, theres another week and a half for me with no money. I figured I could find a job in about a month's time, maybe a month and a half. It doesn't seem that way now though.

I've also been pretty depressed about the break up. I know its for the best, but its still hard. You'd have to know the whole situation about what's been going on lately to understand, which some of you do. I'm just hoping everything will get better soon. I've got a great group of friends who have been there for me through all this crap, and I'm thankful for that. I'm only writing all of this because its my blog and I figured I need to show the bad along with the good. Its not all great all the time.

There is one good thing coming up though... opening day for Auburn. We play Washington State at home this Saturday, September 2nd. It's a night game and I believe it will be on ESPN 2, but I'm not watching it on TV because I'll be there. I'm glad football season is back, thats 1 more day per week that I can kind of take my mind off other stuff, or at least try.

Well thats pretty much an update of my life for the last couple weeks. Maybe things will turn around... I really hope so.
