I've been playing cash games lately on Ultimate Bet. I signed up through RakeTheRake.com and am getting 30% rakeback... My name on UB is Quiet_Boy (inside joke by the way). I deposited $150 and started at .10/.25 NL 6-Max and built up to $270 or so in a little over a week with not much playing time... I ran pretty well... I then deposited $230 more so I could be at $500 and play .25/.50 NL 6-Max instead... I know this isn't quite the proper bankroll, (10 buyins), but I figure it may be ok for lower stakes because the players aren't exactly the greatest. I'm actually down to about $450 right now as a result of some bad beats and running bad for a week or so, but I think I can slowly build this money if I stick to it and don't move away from my strentgh.... short-handed no limit... Now that I don't need my poker money for rent or other bills, I can keep a more stable bankroll. I'll be going down to Biloxi this Sunday and staying until Wednesday because I have next week off, so maybe I can get something going down there too... Last time I went I played well in cash games and played well in a $100 tourney, finishing 5th for $500+... It was somewhat disappointing though because I made 2 costly mistakes at the final table and could have won otherwise, but I'll be sure that it won't happen this time if I make it that far again!
