Keeping with the cash games

I've been grinding the 6-max .50/1.00 NL tables at UB lately and have put together a pretty decent run so far. My bankroll is at about $1,100 and I plan to stay with .50/1.00 until I get up to $2,500 or so, then I'm going to pay off a couple debts I have and keep playing .50/1.00 with a proper bankroll until I can safely move up some more... I think I can do well at these stakes consistently... and I've done a good job of sticking to the plan and not playing sngs or tourneys. I don't have a lot of time to play, maybe 10 hours a week of 2-tabling. I'll update again soon.

Biloxi pwnage...

Biloxi was fun... I started off with a very even session at 1/2 NL, followed by a $100 or so loss in blackjack. Then I played some Let It Ride... which is for some reason my favorite casino table game... I came out about $150 on top there... This was all on Sunday by the way. The rest of the day we just took it easy because we were both still tired from our friend's bachelor party the night before, and not to mention the 5 hour drive to biloxi. Monday was pretty nice... I broke about even in table games and played in a $50 + $10 live tourney at the IP (Imperial Palace.. where we stayed). There were 94 entries and I ran hot... Getting AA 4 times all before the final table, where everybody agreed to somewhat of an even chop... I actually would have rather played it out, but didn't want to be the only one to want to keep going. I got $387 for my efforts there. Tuesday was our last day there, and I was down a quick $150 or so in table games, then I bought in for $140 at 1/2 NL.... I pwned this game. It was fun.. About a round or 2 in, I got dealt 1010 UTG+1 and made it $12 to go... (this was actually a small raise compared to most at the table).. Not at all to my surprise, 7 people called behind me. LOL! Now I'm not liking my hand because I know someone is going to hit this flop harder than me, unless of course I flop the nuts.
.. which I did... oops. 10 7 3 (with 2 clubs)... UTG checked to me and I fired $40 into about an $80 or so pot, no way I'm letting a free card come off for 7 people. The guy right behind me called and it folded around to UTG who, much to my delight, checkraised me allin. I thought about it for a minute.. jk I instacalled, and the player behind me thought for about a minute and folded (he claimed to have JJ and I believe him of course cause hes an old man). He's got to know JJ is beat anyway. I knew I was up against a set or 10 7... he had 33 and I held against his 1 out for a nice pot.... From there it was pretty much all uphill.. I cashed out over $600 in that game in a couple hours. I played great and it was so much fun. I love biloxi. Vegas, August 25-29, I can't wait.
