Running hot right now.... I only played 51 sngs last week, going 10 4 6 31 for a $315 profit and a 19% ROI... after running even through the first 42, I went a rediculous 3 1 2 3 in my last session of the week. I also just had a nice start to this week, going 3 1 1 4. I know I can't run this good or even half this good all the time, but man it feels good when I do. I'm playing my best sng poker right now. I'm now a Silverstar on PS and if I play 90 more through the end of Sunday I'll become a Goldstar. That is my goal, although 90 is alot for me, even 9-tabling. I DO have a real job too ya know lol. Okay time to go eat I'll update later this week.

Seesaw

Well before today, since I started on Wednesday I was 6 3 4 20 for a profit of around $180. Today I just had a horrible session. I went 1 0 0 8 and dropped a good bit. Its frustrating when it feels like I lose every single coin flip. My KK went down to A-rag a couple times. I lost a few 60/40s.... I didn't pick up too many hands overall. The rake is killing me too... at $3 per game. A good thing about it though is that I'm gaining FPPs like crazy. I just became a Silverstar which means I earn 50% more FPPs. If I really grind it out the rest of this month I may can reach Goldstar by then. Although my 7 3 4 28 is very even so far, (being up about $20), I feel like I'm playing really well. 42 sngs is a very very very small sample size anyway, so that doesn't really worry me. Also, I've started 9-tabling. This is about as much as I can take lol. I hope to get to about 75 sngs by the end of tomorrow (Sunday). I started on Wednesday so I figure 100 may be a little too much for me. Wish me luck...

OOOOOOOOOOOOOK here we go...

I know I've talked about goals here and there and sticking to a certain thing, and most of the time I stray away from those goals. I said I was going to play 100 sngs a week... I don't even get close. I've been playing alot of tournaments lately too, which probably has alot to do with that. Now I know.... WITHOUT A DOUBT.. that regular NL sngs are my strongest game, so I need to really capitalize on every opportunity I get to play them. With all this said, here is what I'm going to do... I've cashed out my Full Tilt bankroll and all I have left on Stars is $1,321.94.

That is 40 buy-ins at the $33 sngs on Stars. I feel that this is enough for me to play them, although a bigger roll would obviously be nice. So I WILL NOT play in another tournament (except smallish WCOOP qualifiers because I have 29W$ that I can't use for anything else lol) until I have brought my roll up to $3,000. Now, obviously I'm not going to play 100 sngs every single week, but I will be playing alot more than I am now, simply because during the time when I usually play tourneys, I will play sngs instead.

I'm hoping that I run good and get up there in about a month, but we'll see. No more tourneys, no cash games, ONLY SNGS. When I finally get up to $3k, I'll go from there. Oh and when I get to $2,200 I will be able to move up to $55s which will hopefully speed up the process, although the level of play may be slightly better. Wish me luck! I'll update randomly.

more tourneys...

I played well tonight... but I'm still disappointed... 5th in the $3k guaranteed limit MTT on FTP for $200something..... had a 3 to1 lead on second place with 16 left.. (yeah... huuuuge lead) and everything went wrong at the final table.... first was $800 and some change so I'm very disappointed. Can't do anything when the cards turn and beats come your way. 16th in the $20 6-handed rebuy on FTP for $120 or so... I played horribly on the bubble... Won a seat in a $11 turbo rebuy mtt satty on ps... using no rebuys or addons... cashed out the credits... So minus the buyins.. up close to $400 on the night but still not too happy... Guess it was a good night anyway.

So close again...

Today I played well. I entered 2 $11 turbo mtt sattys to the mil on ps, a $24 mtt on ft, a $20 rebuy mtt on ft, the $3 rebuy mtt on ps, and the 100grand tourney on ps that has a $10 buyin. I busted in 1 turbo satty and got a seat in the other, so I unregistered for the mil and took the $215 tourney credits... I'd rather get my roll a little higher before I start playing the mil when I when a seat. I busted in the $24 on ft, but cashed in the other 3 tourneys... A meaningless $17 or so in the 100grand when I busted just in the money. The $3 rebuy went well for a while and I was up to 90k when avg was around 50k.. I just went card dead though and busted around 200something for about $40. My close one was the $20 rebuy on ft. I didn't rebuy or addon at all, because the deck was hitting me in the face in the first 30 minutes or so, as I ran my 1500 stack up to about 8000... it was a sick run. Late in the tourney I was shortstacked for a long time until I finally pushed with AKcc into 66.. flop Jc Qc x and obv I didn't catch. I finished 11th though which was good for $153... just so close to a final table and a nice score, as 1st place was over $3k. I'm still running good in the $33 sngs whenever I get to play them, which I need to do more. Sngs are still my strongest point I think. Although I don't play the turbos because I love the middle levels in the regular ones, and its much less of a crapshoot. Well thats all for now.

poker sucks.....

The thing I hate most about tournament poker... you can play so good allll day long for nothing. So I was in a $26 satty to the mulligan on FTP... Top 9 get seat... I'm avg stack with 12 left and push AJcc into 88.... flop xc xc x... no help I'm out... I finally get a seat in the Mil on PS through a $11 turbo satty... I'm up to around 40k quickly cause I'm catching cards... I get KK and a maniac pushes into me with AQ... He flops trips and that puts me back to 15kish.... Later I triple up with KK vs 6h7h and K9 in a 30kish pot..... Then I get allin with AK vs AsQs... flop K x xs... turn xs... Of course the river brings another spade and I'm crippled, only to get in 2 hands later and lose a coin flip obviously.... I finish about 100 or so out of the money...I'm also in the $3 rebuy on stars and get pretty deep... Theres 80something ppl left and I get 1010 in EP with 4k/8k blinds sitting around 100k... Table is stacked and I push, knowing if I just raise I'm calling a push anyway.. and MP snap calls with AQ and beats me... Poker is stupid.. but of course I'll keep playing.. I'm too much of a donk to quit :)

Oh on a side note... Vegas was a blast.. Once again, if I would've stuck to poker I would've won... but we all know if I'm up $300 there I have to drop $300 or $400 somewhere else right?? I broke about even I guess... Later!
