Update....

My grandfather passed away a few days ago and we had the funeral today. It was pretty much expected to happen soon, he was just really old and has been having problems lately. He lived a great full life of 93 years though, and I'm sure he was ready to go. Nobody ever had anything bad to say about him, or him about others. He will be missed by everyone.

As far as poker goes, I've played at the Monday night home game 4 times now. The first 2 were uneventful, but last week they had their monthly "Jumbo Night" where the buyin is $120 instead of $80, and I got 2nd for $450. Then last night I won the normal $80 buyin for $530. It feels good to finally get a couple big scores over there. The competition is weak for the most part, with probably about 25% of the players being decent. As far as online goes, I haven't played much lately, but I need to play more. My goal of 5k hands a week isn't exactly being met. Oh well, it'll be ok. Pokerstars gave me a 100% reload bonus up to $100 because I'm a former epassporte user (they no longer accept it). So I deposited the full amount and should clear it pretty soon, so thats some free money right there. Not a whole lot else going on lately. I'll update again when anything significant happens.
