Week 4...

Here are my stats for week 4 followed by my totals...

WEEK 4 = $11,full,reg (98) 14/9/17/58 = +$101.00

TOTAL SNGS = 292
TOTAL BUYIN = $3,392.00

TOTAL PROFIT = $175.60

TOTAL ROI = 5.18%

Its been a slow start, but hopefully I'll get it going. Yesterday was a +$140 day over 20 sngs, and that counts to week 5, so it would be nice if I can keep that going and boost up my ROI. Not much going on besides that, except for the fact that I'm moving. I'm transferring to the TSYS in Atlanta (Kennesaw) and will be moving up there in the next few weeks. I'm still doing my same job, just from a different place. Other than that, its the same ol same ol. I'll update again after week 5.

Frustrating...

So I 20-tabled for the first time a couple days ago, and I handled it pretty well.... until the internet went down. I tried for 10 mins or so to get the connection back, then finally drove 10 mins to my Dad's house to finish (it sucked because I was like mid-way through them already). When I turned it on over there all the tables popped up at the same time in random places on the screen and different sizes, plus the fact that I have to click OK saying I'm back in every one of them... this in itself took several minutes to get straightened. So I had been blinded out of half of them, crippled in 4 or 5, and still alive in 4 or 5. Somehow I managed to cash in 4 of them dispite all of this, actually I think I got a 3rd not even being there in one of them, so maybe I cashed in 5. Either way, this came a day after my worst downswing so far, so it hurt. The day after that I managed to get back a small piece of it, but it was still a big losing week. I only played 82, so I plan on playing 118 this coming week to catch up. Here are the stats...

WEEK 3 = $11,full,reg (82) 6/10/10 = -$182.00

TOTAL SNGS = 194
TOTAL BUYIN = $2,314.00

TOTAL PROFIT = $74.60

TOTAL ROI = 3.22%

So my ROI went waaaaay down, but I think the $11s are so soft that I can get it back up rather quickly (I hope at least).

Stats through week 2...

Week 1 was actually only last Friday and Saturday with 12 total sngs, but I'll still count it as a separate week. Switched to 9-man sngs today and ran good. I'm done for this week but will play some more tomorrow. The weeks are counted Sunday - Saturday (not Monday - Sunday like I used to do).

WEEK 1
$13,6max,turbo (12) 2/4/6

= +$38.40

WEEK 2
$13,6max,turbo (78) 16/12/50 +37.20
$11,full,reg (22) 5/4/5/8 +181.00

= +$218.20

TOTAL SNGS = 112
TOTAL BUYIN = $1,412.00

TOTAL PROFIT = $256.60

TOTAL ROI = 18.17%

Can't make up my mind..

I can't make up my mind if I want to play tourneys, sngs, or cash games, or just a mix. Right now, I'm playing sngs on Stars again, and some MTTs on Full Tilt. I deposited $100 in FTP just to play tourneys every now and then while I'm playing sngs so I don't get so bored. Sunday I got 3rd in a 90-man KO tourney for like $250something which was ok. I was chip leader at the start of the FT and when we got 3-handed we all exchanged the lead a few times, but it was a turbo structure and I just couldn't get any hands late. No other decent tourney scores since that unfortunately, but I haven't played many either.

Sngs are going ok. I think I have somewhere around a 10% ROI through 80 or 90 sngs since last Friday, which isn't that bad, but they are only $13 6-man turbos so I expect better. Of course I was around 30% ROI through like 50 or 55, but swings do happen, especially if you run as bad as I did last night... Wow. Well I started with $1,000.73 in my Stars account last week and have $1,076.33 now. Its going to be a grind, but that's fine with me as long as I can play some MTTs in there to mix it up. I started stacking my tables instead of tiling them the other day, and believe it or not, I like it better. I can probably play alot more tables like that. I 12-tabled just fine yesterday, and they were turbo 6-mans. I'll probably play some 9-man $11 regs and see how that goes, because I can probably play at least 16 of those simultaneously. From now on my BR management goes like this...

Stick to $11 sngs until I have 75 buy-ins of the next level to take a shot with.

If I dip back down to the equivalent of 100 buy-ins of the original level, go back down.

Repeat as I move up.

I pretty much came up with that myself and I think its a pretty good system. I just know that stacking the tables will help me get alot more play in now, which is great. I've played about 75 or 80 sngs this week already, and it seems like I've barely played. Hopefully all of this will go well for me. I'll start putting numbers in here more often when I update at the end of this week so that anyone who wants to can follow my progress. The goal is to sustain at least a 10% ROI through $11s, $22s, and $33s. Wish me luck!
